Chapter Text

3:00 AM. 3:00 in the morning. I woke up at Three o’ clock in the fucking morning. I’m not doing this, I'm going back to sleep.

3:10 AM. Not even ten minutes. Am I just not able to go back to sleep? What, am I gonna wake up at midnight next? No, because I’m going back to sleep!

3:11 AM. Why…? I hate this! I feel even more sick now! I’m starting to genuinely believe that I’m actually sick! I don’t want to be sick—

I can feel something coming out, something wanting to escape. I didn’t want it to come out, but now it’s just all over the floor. With more still coming out. My throat hurts. If I could kill myself I would.

But the recovery centers were destroyed almost two years ago, Two apparently doesn't have recovery powers, and they still haven’t ordered a new one and if I did kill myself I doubt it would get rid of my sickness anyway!

So I sat on the ground sobbing for hours. There was nothing else to do. If I couldn’t sleep then what other options were there? Keep throwing up for the next two hours? Well, I did that anyway.

I then hear a knock on the door. “You okay, Needle?” Coiny asks. I look at the door they entered through, Coiny’s mouth is agape as he stops five feet in front of me. Pin followed behind him with her fingers in her ears.

“Your screaming burned my ears…” she says.

“Well yours burned mine!” I mumble. I let out a few coughs.

“Huh? What’d you say?” Pin asks. “I couldn’t hear you, you little bitch.”

She squatted. I am 6’4, she’s the short one here.

“I’m not a bitch!” I say.

“You left for Freesmart!” She yells. She stands up.

“I said I was sorry…” I cry.

“Freesmart is literally filled with bitches!” She starts getting louder.

“You remember what they did, right Needle!?” She moves closer to me.

“What did I even do?” I ask.

“Association!”

“Oh! We are not doing this today!” Coiny says. He lifts up Pin and carries her away from me. I could still hear both of their voices and my muffled cries settle themself down as—

“—two that I am not a doctor!” I hear. I open my eyes and I’m on a bed that’s not mine. “But I am a technician of sorts, I can help with your computer,” Golf Ball says.

I sit up and see Tennis Ball running up to me. “Nono, don’t…” He says. He places a few Pillows behind me. I decided to listen to the conversation.

“So it appears that this one here seems to have some type of virus,” Golf Ball says, pointing in my direction. “In order to figure out what it exactly is we’ll be keeping her here for a few days.”

So what she wants to do… is trap me in her factory for— I don’t know three days!?? What the hell??

There is something tied around my wrist. This is so great! Being an experiment, so exciting!! I heard those two leaving. Just leaving me here with bozo brains and her slightly better assistant.

“And now all we need to do is sedate her,” Golf Ball says. Yeah would I rather see myself getting treated like dirt or just be aware of it? How about neither! “Stop screaming!” Golf Ball yells. My other arm got trapped in those things. “‘I don't want this! I don't want this!’ Just stay quiet!” She puts some type of pill in my mouth.

“Swallow it…” Or choke on it instead. Which I did. Golf Ball picks up the small tablet and puts that and three others into my mouth.

She then grabs my mouth with her foot. “I’m not letting go until you swallow them.” She says. “Tb, make notes on any of the other symptoms she has.” She then looks at me threateningly. “And don’t even think of throwing up…” she mutters.

“Did you swallow?” she asks. I nod. “Finally you did it…” she says and then lets go of my mouth. “Now what you’re going to do is stay up like that for around thirty-ish minutes,” she demands.

“You don’t have to, just don’t lay down…” Tb adds. I give them a thumbs up.

“Great! Now come on Tb, we don’t want to bother the patient.” Golf Ball says as she starts walking away.

“Wait, she needs another pillow!” Tennis Ball runs, hopefully to get me a pillow I think another pillow would be nice.

Golf Ball said something, I only knew that because Tennis Ball said “Yes she does!” and it’s my pillow!!!

“Oh wow, thanks!” I say holding it in my arms.

“No it’s supposed to go under you,” Tennis Ball said. Oh okay.

It would’ve been around an hour when I last saw them. There’s nothing to do other than watch Markerpiler on my phone.

There’s footsteps. Oh finally they came to check on me! I sit up to not see them but a different girl.

She has curly black hair that was tied back with a grey ribbon. She adjusts her warm toned sweater and starts walking over to me.

“Hi…” she says awkwardly. I wave back. “Hi…ummm…” she sat down, brushing her light colored pants. “Don’t tell Golf Ball that I’m down here, alright?” She smiles. I just nod.

“What are you watching?” She asks. I told her, I told her the exact video too. “That seems interesting, I’ll have to watch it later!” She takes out some type of tablet. “I wanted to show you something too!” She turns it around to my face.

It was a group of dots floating around the screen. “Pick any one you like, take your time.” The yellow one caught my eye the most. “Did you find it?” She whispers. I nod.

“Okay, okay, now I want you to try to really focus on it…” It’s off the screen.

“Like really focus on it.” It’s still off the screen— oh never mind!

It’s now on the right side of the screen. Then it moves more to the lower middle. It bounces off the corner and moves to the top, leaving the screen again. It comes back moving to the bottom again. It moves itself to the left side of the screen. It bounces to the right. Then back down again. Even more to the right.

“How do you feel?” It moved up. “mmhmm…” it bounces to the bottom left corner.

“Okay now look at me…” she moves my head to her face. Her bold brown eyes stare into mine. She gazes upon my face. She snaps in my ears a few times. “Okay…” she counts on her finger a few times, still looking at me.

“Why are you here?” She asks. “I don’t know…think I fainted…” She nods. “Mhm,” she hums. “I’m sorry about what happened to you…” she whispers.
“that…what happened?” I ask.

“Nothing!” She comes up closer to my face. “Look left, look right,” she says. “Okay now deep breath in.”

She moves her water bottle in my face and splashes me with it while I am doing it. “And now breathe out,” she says without giving me time to react.

“Okay that’s all I need you for!” She grabs her stuff and leaves. Without helping me dry off first! How rude!

At Least she was nice while she was here. She seems very nice actually… nicer than Golf Ball.

Wait.
