The Bet

Here they go again, betting the same thing from the previous PPVs they had wrestled in for the WWE title and still it comes out with the same result: Sheamus winning the match. How could John be so blind throughout their first match and botched himself through a table that made him lose his championship in the first place? Maybe before their steel cage match, he feels threatened to face him ever again as he always ends up losing against the Celtic Warrior. At least for this match, in particular, he will finally win.
"Hey Shea, I got a bet for you. Who will end up as champion tonight?" John asked a question that puts his lover to test him with smart answers.
"Probably me. I always beat you in PPV's that involves a championship belt. Everyone including you saw what happened when I defeated you in a tables match back in 2009. Sorry love, but I'm going to retain the title" Sheamus replied with a triumphant grin on his face.
"Oh really think you can retain the title against me? I'd say I will come out as the new champion and it will leave you in tears, crying for your best friends" John teased as Shea nipped at his shoulder playfully.
"Not funny! Besides, I hope Nexus comes in during the match so they can ruin your chance of becoming the champion again" The current champion said with a small laugh that made his smaller lover get jealous of him.
"I wouldn't be too sure if I were you. They said it is our job to keep Nexus at bay so meaning that I can beat you fair and square, all clear from interferences of any kind. Victory will be mine!" John laughed evilly where Shea sneaked in front of him and gave him a quick kiss, attacking his tongue, smirking wildly at Cena's moans from the unexpected kiss.
"What was that for?" John asked, panting for breath.
"I'd like to see you try that John. Oh, by the way, I have your games and I have mine. See you in the ring, my love" Shea replied as he makes his way to the curtain and toward the ring.
"See you in the ring too, love" John replied with a smile on his face. Once Sheamus is away from his sight, he muttered something under his breath, "I will beat you this time and you will pay up from my bet sometime later tonight" before getting called to make his way to the curtain.
Once both lovers and rivals are at the ring, surrounded by a steel cage, these two desperately fight for the championship belt as the referee officially started the match. Within the first five minutes of the match, John already got wrapped up by the ropes meaning Shea is loving every moment of this time to deliver punches to the former champion, as the tied up guy ends up struggling for help. Little by little getting free from the ropes, he gets revenge and delivers his shoulder block moves, gaining momentum for his signature pose: The Five Knuckle Shuffle. As he waves his hands in front of Shea, he goes on one side of the ring and then delivers a punch to his lover's face.
Hours later within the match where the referee is momentarily knocked out, The Nexus once again shows no respect to the match's rules regarding them interfering, comes to prevent John from winning the match as he hangs on dear life on the edges of the cage, as Sheamus gets up and climbs his way on the other side of the cage and then lands on the floor, successfully retaining the title. This has made Cena go crazy, all thanks to those goons who showed up out of nowhere, costing him the title once again but most of all, he lost the bet he did earlier.
As Shea teased John by blowing him a quick kiss before making his way backstage, he gets down from the cage and starts destroying Nexus one by one until none of them survives within his surroundings, as he slams his fist through the steel and angrily walks backstage as well, waiting on what Shea will say to him.
"You see what I mean?" Shea teases his lover before continuing. "It's obvious that I came out victorious in the match between us, I'm going to give Nexus something later but for right now, it looks like you're going to have to pay" he added as he waits for John to pay the price of his loss.
"How much do I owe ya?" John asked as he takes a look at his wallet and pulls out a ton of money, causing Shea to take the whole thing leaving his lover extremely broke.
"All of your precious money my love" Shea replied with a devious smile on his face, seeing how John has no money left on his valuables.
"It looks like it's going to be a hard job for me to recapture what I had earned throughout the years" The Cenation Leader replied back, accepting the loss of his matches with him.
"Good luck with that!" Shea laughed as he started walking away from his broken love, towards his locker room to get himself changed for their dinner night together.
"Next time, I will be successful in winning against you" John muttered to himself.
