   Summary

Mara Ingellvar has no place to call home, no one to bury, no lineage to continue. Found in the Necropolis as a toddler under mysterious circumstances, she struggles to find her role in anything. Luckily she has her trusty Wisp at her side.
Until unfortunate circumstances thrust her into the orbit of one Varric Tethras who needs her tenacity to track down or defeat a supposed elven trickster/god.
After losing everything she's ever known and loved, Mara becomes the Rook in Solas's game and gathers a team to finish what history started.
Then she meets Lucanis Dellamorte, the mage killer assassin with an unexpected "demon" tagalong.
And there's just something familiar she can't quite put her finger on...
