Summary
A disastrous hangover is the least of Cassandra Blythe’s problems.
When a routine assignment from Gringotts sends the sharp-witted, occasionally reckless curse-breaker to Cairo, she expects ancient magic, troublesome paperwork, and perhaps a little adventure. What she finds is far more complicated: a resurrected Egyptian lord, a remarkably opinionated cat, secrets buried beneath centuries of sand, and a curse that refuses to remain buried. As old powers awaken and the boundary between the living and the dead begins to blur, Cassandra must discover that some mysteries are not meant to be solved by simply breaking the curse. Sometimes, the greatest danger lies in what happens after the seal is broken.
