You did such a great job capturing the emotional connection between Pete and Mikey. Pete’s voicemail was heartbreaking, especially the way he struggled to put his feelings into words while expressing how much Mikey meant to him. Mikey’s panic and desperate drive to make sure Pete was okay made the story even more emotional. I also loved the relief of their reunion and the little touch of humour from Pete’s neighbour.
