Meulin yawned. She stretched out her arms and leaned back into her furry backrest; Nyadine Strohissen purred at her touch, vibrating Meulin’s entire body. Meulin smiled and gave her lusus a well-deserved scritch behind her ear. Taking out her husktop, meulin decided to see if any new fanfics of her furavorite pawring were out. There had been a few purromising ones yesterday, but those were quickly read through and gushed over.
(^._.^) Oh... oh no...
Meulin couldn’t believe her eyes.
(^/ỘΔỘ^)/ < TWO TO FUR W33KS???
(^/ΦДΦ^)/ < THIS IS UNCATCEPTPAWBLE!!!
Meulin was so shocked that she almost tossed her poor husktop to the other side of her hive. How could she live??? For that long??? Was it even pawsible??? She pulled on her hair in desperation, gritting her teeth. She *would* get through this. She had to.
Two warm tongues gently bathed her shoulder — Nyadine Strohissen must have sensed her anguish. Meulin forced herself to relax, if only to ease her caretaker’s worry. There were other sites besides her chosen one... right??? Quickly, she opened her Chittr account and scanned to see what her murrutuals were posting about; maybe she would find something there.
Right on cue, she saw the usual suggestions of Wallingpad (eww FUCK that) and Flayfiction.net. Meulin thought back to when she was younger and used the latter. It wasn’t *that* bad, as sites go, but it wasn’t the best either. Sighing, she opened Reddis (the full site name was Reddismemberment, but literally nobody called it that due to being so long unwieldy as a name). Maybe the reddistors would have a suggestion for her. Anything would be better than simply resigning herself to the furst choice, after all.
It was nice seeing so many different Goregle Drives that other shipurrs had collected over the sweeps, but downloading those to her own husktop and sorting through them? That would take time. Meulin mused that doing that would be best suited for tomorrow, when she wasn’t in the claws of withdrawl still and able to actually think rationally about the situcation.
There were a few sites that stood out to her, but one in particular seemed purromising. Clicking on the link, she was greeted with a familiar layout, albeit much more yellow. Breathing a sigh of relief, she braced herself and searched for her furavorite pairing. Just as she suspected... her vast buffet had been reduced to mere pickings... but pickings were better than nothing.
Meulin allowed herself a small smile. She would survive this. In fact, seeing how she had kept putting aside her own drafts in order to read other fics, she would THRIVE.
