   Summary

June of 1975, Hogwarts ends as usual. But September 1st, 1975 the Marauders are hit with a shocking difference.
After experiencing many atrocities, Severus Snape has not returned to Hogwarts for his 5th year. This story isn't about that, it's about the outcome of that simple choice.

Story is cross-posted on AO3. Alternate chapter titles than on Ao3 since I can't remember what I called them lol.
extremely AU, and canon divergent. You have been warned.

Each chapter has an associated song :)
