Work Text:
Virgil laid on his bed, legs stretched up on his wall, scrolling through his phone, headphones in, jamming out.
It was a nice way to unwind. Or at least unwind as much as the imagined physical embodiment of Anxiety COULD unwind.
He felt something tickle his arm, gently brushing it just in case it was one of his spiders that had somehow got out but when he looked down Mr. Fuzzy was sitting next to him.
"HOLY SHIT!?" Virgil rolled off his bed in an attempt to escape. He knew for a FACT that Mr. Fuzzy has not left the top of his dresser in YEARS. "I KNEW YOU COULD MOVE YOU FRICKEN-!"
Mr. Fuzzy proved him right by rolling up to him making him SCREECH. Holding out a box to him.
Virgil, for good reason, was very very wary of that box.
Patton was in the kitchen making dinner for everybody. With all the food in the oven and ready to cook he made his way into the living room to watch some tv while he waited for the timer.
He sat on the couch to find something lumpy under his cushion. Confused he checked to find Teddy, the makeup gift he had made Remus a few Christmases ago.
"Oh dear. Did Remus accidentally leave you down here?" Patton picked up the Teddy and gave it a once over to see if his sitting on it had hurt it.
Of course it was just a teddy bear and not alive but Patton was a sentimental man.
"You seem alright. Anyway. Hi Teddy." He placed the Teddy down on the couch next to him so he can watch tv too.
Suddenly Teddy spun it's neck around 270 degrees to take the long way round to face Patton "Hello."
"HOLY FRICK!" Patton punched Teddy, sending it flying across the room "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I just.. wasn't expecting that."
Teddy stood up and rearranged it's body and limbs, making cracking noises despite having nothing in him to crack before his Velcro opened up to reveal a box.
Virgil had run downstairs when he heard Patton scream to find him terrifiably eyeing Teddy, who turned to look and smile at Virgil.
"Jesus Christ." Virgil grabbed the box from Teddy and grabbed Patton's hand "Come with me."
Remus sat in his room when he suddenly had two rings thrown at the back of his head.
He turned around and smiled at Patton and Virgil.
"Hello my loves." He grinned a cocky faux innocent grin "What brings you to my humble abode?"
Virgil pointed at the rings on the ground. "Pick those up and get down on one knee like a normal fucking person instead of traumatizing us!"
"Aw. But where's the fun in that?"
Virgil crossed his arms and glared at him.
"Ugh. Fine." Remus picked up the rings, turned away from them, and literally bent over backward to face them, a very audible crack being heard "Will you 2 marry me?" He held the two rings out toward them.
Patton smiled big and nodded before hugging Remus "Of course!"
Virgil sighed "Close enough I guess. Sure."
