"I'm back!" Lisa called out in the apartment as she closed the door with her elbow.
Ianto soon appeared in the hallway with his crutches. "Let me help you with that," he said, reaching for the grocery bags Lisa was holding.
- "No," she said firmly. "You should be resting. I can take care of this."
Ianto sighed but didn't argue. He'd twisted his ankle the previous week and wasn't too happy about having to stay home. He was sure he could've still done some filing at work, it wasn't that bad of an injury, but Lisa had insisted he get time off to recover, and of course Yvonne had agreed. Sometimes Ianto wondered if they were secretly working against him.
He followed Lisa into the kitchen, keeping quiet because—
"You've cleaned the kitchen!" she exclaimed once she realised. "You said you'd rest!"
- "I was bored," he said. "And I can clean with the crutches, you know."
- "You are unbelievable," she said. "I should've strapped you to the bed before leaving."
She put the groceries away (she had to wrench the bags from Ianto's hands twice) and ushered her boyfriend to the living room.
"I have something for you," she said with a wide smile on her face.
- "Do you?"
She nodded and rummaged through her handbag, pulling out a DVD case from it.
"Die Another Day!" Ianto gasped, his eyes lighting up.
- "You don't have it in your collection, do you?"
- "I... don't, actually. I don't know why I've never bought it," he said, then frowned. "But I thought you didn't like James Bond."
- "Not really, but I know you do," she replied. "It's cute how excited you get over these movies."
- "Not just movies," said Ianto. "I also like the books and the comics and—"
Lisa laughed. "I know, I know. You're probably the person who knows the most about him on this planet."
Ianto smiled smugly at that.
"Well, I'll put it on then, shall I?" said Lisa, walking over to the TV. She then sat on the couch snuggled close to Ianto before pressing play.
