A young woman with blue hair turned in her bed as her negative thoughts were taking over. Most of them were either about causing her own death or somebody else’s. She rubbed one of her eyes as if tears were coming out of them. There was an eighty percent chance that she would not get any sleep. Again. For the third time. She heard a loud knock and decided to answer it.
She grabbed a flashlight that was on her nightstand. She then slipped on slippers and walked downstairs. X, or as some contestants could call them “The nicer host” gave them the houses after the third episode. They still forgot about the lights in Death P.A.C.T’s house after it broke a few days ago. She went to the front door and opened it.
“Liy! Liy, thank god it’s you!” Pen panted. Liy just nodded as she was too tired to actually listen. “Listen we found Dream Island and then we saw Evil Leafy, she got Pillow but she isn’t dead, the myth is real!” “Myth is real?…Who’s Evil Leafy again?” Liy asked. “Leafy…but red with big creepy eyes,”
“Ohh, yeah I’ve heard of—” the two people who stood outside ran inside. This also meant Liy didn’t get enough time to react; she was pushed through the door. “Liy, you need to hide us,” Pen pleaded. “Umm…Why? She asked. “We are going to die…” Bottle said in some type of cheery yet panicked voice. “No you aren’t” Liy chuckled and then she turned around.
She heard something; they all did. The sound of a water faucet running. An unidentifiable figure stood inside the kitchen. The faucet stopped. The mysterious being took a sip out of whatever it was holding. The three of them started slowly stepping back. Liy held her fists out and Pen held out one of the swords. The figure was about to leave the kitchen and was also about to say something not before Bottle did. “She’s already here!!” She shrieked.
“Who, me?” Pie asked, with a glass of water in one hand and a flashlight in the other. “Also are you guys trying to kill me?” The other three try to deny. If she was actually Evil Leafy they were gonna. “And we’re in a pact! We’re supposed to prevent death, not cause it!” “That’s what she said,” Pen whispered. “Who?” Liy asked. Silence filled the room. “Now half of our team is at risk of getting killed by Evil Leafy!” Bottle said. “Or Pillow!!” She added.
“What!?” Liy yelled. Pie spat out the water that she just drank. “Well she can’t cause…she’s in the pact,” Pie explained. “Apparently she somehow convinced Pillow that ‘No more pact! No more pact for you, Pillow!’ So…” Pen rambled. “So…?” Pie asked. “Please either one of you let us stay in your room!” “And if she isn’t evil or insane or whatever you claim she is…?” Liy tested. “We’ll just…stay in ours…” Liy then thought of the idea that it could be true. “Actually I’m unsure, how about you Pie,” She quickly turned to Pie. “Up for the offer?” Pie knowing that nobody else wants to deal with this said: “Eh, sure.”
The four ran to Pie’s room. Liy being the last one to enter, shut the door behind her with a loud bang. Everyone except for Pie started taking items and blocking the door and windows with them. “Wait, none of you said you were going to block up my entire room,” She said. “This is what happens when you know that someone will kill you,” Pen said, somehow managing to fit one more book into the window near the bed. “Even my closet?” she asked. Liy kept kicking a box deeper in said closet. “Umm, no…” she awkwardly replied, removing the box with her foot.
A sudden harsh sound came from outside the room. The group searched where the sound came from. Then they realized it came from outside. The noise repeated itself. A sharp cry was heard immediately after. Pie went to the closest window to it. She carefully removed all of the items on it and looked down. “Pie?” The person said, “Hi Pie!” They wave to Pie. “Hello Pillow,” she replied.
Someone else’s hand closed the window off, the person yelling, “Go away, Pillow!” Bottle also went up to the window, placing some paper mache down on it. “I still don’t understand why we are doing this…” Pie asked. “We’ll talk about it in the morning,” Bottle patted Pie’s head. “Goodnight, Pie!” She said.
Bottle gets on top of the bed. The only bed in the room. She fluffed up a pillow and layed down. She basically stole Pie’s bed. “Yeah, Goodnight Pie!” Pen lifted up the sheets and also got in the bed. Pie realized that she isn’t going to be in her bed tonight. Liy also started getting in. Yeah she’s definitely not having her bed tonight. “Sorry Pie…” Liy whispered. “It’s whatever.” Pie replied. She could just do what pets do on non pet beds…it looked too uncomfortable. She also realized she has to get another blanket.
A few minutes passed and Pie was comfortably wrapped up in her blanket. The other three, still in her bed, were probably sleeping by now. She checked for the time: 4:12. She was unsure what to do, she already got a drink and that drink already settled in. Even the pleas of wanting to be let in surprisingly stopped. She wanted to tell her teammates that they could leave. But there’s also a possibility that Pillow figured out a way inside. So what would she do now? Probably hear the enraged scream from outside.
At Least that was confirmation that Pillow definitely wasn’t inside. But she sure did wake the other three up. “What the hell?” Pen said in confusion. A few footsteps started running past the room. Bottle started crying. Liy only stares. “Umm…” Pie started “Pillow is uh…screaming?” “Do either of you believe us now?” Pen asked. “Kind of?” Pie replied. Liy nodded slightly. A conversation could be heard outside.
“They left me out here!!” Pillow screamed. “Who, who?” Tree asked. And then Pillow started naming the rest of their team, the ones that weren’t outside with them. Which basically means four inside could be screwed. “Well it isn’t their fault, it is…” Tree checked his watch. “4:15 in the morning. Most people aren’t really awake at 4:15 in the morning,” he said. “It’s 4:16 now!” Remote added. “Or 4:16,” Tree would’ve continued talking but of course. “They F—” Pillow almost let out a swear. “They abandoned me!!” She continued crying.
The other four Death PACT members went up to a window. Bottle being slightly behind the other three. Pie opened the window slowly. The crying got louder as she did. They stared in shock and panic. None of them spoke. Pen held out one of his hands, opened palmed, in a ‘do you see it now?’ Type of way.
“See, look Pillow you woke them up,” Black Hole sighed. “They were awake the entire time!” Pillow yelled. “Yeah sure,” Remote said, sarcastically. “Pie even waved and everything!” Remote said it again. “You believe me?!” Pillow asked. “Maybe,” Remote replied. “Just maybe!?” Pillow asked, in a slightly lower volume. “Yikes…”
It wasn’t only Death PACT watching. The whole entire time a few of The Losers were also watching. “Oh pin factory…” Pin said. “Want a scary story?” Coiny asked. “If it’s about a crying baby then no,”. Needle replied. “No, I was actually thinking of something else…” Coiny responded. “Oh what is it?” Pin asked. “Is it Ev—” Needle guessed. “No, don’t say it!” Coiny covered Needle’s mouth. “But you’re close,” Coiny grabbed a flashlight and sat down. “Oh he’s actually doing it,” Pin commented. She closed the blinds and sat down as well.
Coiny turned on the flashlight. “I had a dream where,” he said, he then mouthed a certain name, “She asked me to pick between Pin and my life…” He muttered. “What did you pick?” Pin asked in a quavering voice. “Didn’t have enough time before she killed me,” he said. “In the dream!” Needle snapped her finger.
“Hey, reminds me of this dream I had!” She said. “Oh cool! More dreams!!” Pin said, she scooted in closer. “So me alone, right?” The other two nodded. “I was walking somewhere, I think it was Golfball’s lab…” she added. “When I asked her a question she stared at me with the most blankest, droned out stare ever,” she whispered. “Mhm, keep going!” Pin said, scooting closer. “I think there were a couple of others there as well,” she mumbled. “Mhm, keep going!” Pin put your hands together. “Don’t really remember much, it was like she was being controlled and they were gonna get me too…”
“So Pin how about you?” Needle asked. “Yeah Pin, tell us a story!” Pin sat there for a moment. “I don’t really have anything…” She thought about something and then realized. “Okay, so there I was,”
