Hey peeps!
I'm an obsessed Trekkie — long-time DS9 fan, much more recent TNG fan. I've been writing DS9 fanfic since I set up this account in 2016; I only saw TNG for the first time in 2020, and the first fanfic I ever did for it is my retcon-in-progress!
I'd originally planned for the retcon to focus mostly on DS9, but at least imply that the Federation flagship is involved in the Dominion War too (because why shouldn't it?) But...well, Part 1 is still DS9-focused (particularly Odo/Kira), but Part 2...
Let's just say Part 2 has blown into a massive, full-on DS9/TNG crossover, potentially 350K words long. It may well take me till August to finish it, but I'm hard at work! Labor of love 😂
And that's not the end...I have a massive Star Trek series in the works. After the retcon, the series will jump ahead to 800 years after the DS9 finale, working from my rewritten canon. It will be a massive canon expansion, intended to function as something like the season 8 we never got, except that it takes place far in the future.
Expect to see some familiar faces — Odo, Sisko, Data, and Tasha Yar (yes, Tasha!) …as well as some not-so-familiar faces, including a descendant of Kira Nerys, a new Dax host, and an ambitious Romulan!
And one of my favorite villains will make a comeback…none other than DS9’s female Changeling.
We’ll be dealing with some epic intrigue, complex character arcs, and Bajor’s next chance to decide the fate of worlds…!
I hope you enjoy! XD
Note: If you enjoy my work, you have my full blessing to download my fics!
Oh, ALSO: My pseudonym Perse is pronounced like "Percy." Taken from the Perseid Meteor Showers.
