Mio sighed, holding the ivory left-handed bass guitar in her hands, running her fingers up and down the steel strings. Ritsu tapped her pointer fingers together in mock embarrassment, lips pursed. At least she had the smarts to look ashamed.
"You can’t just buy me a bass guitar every time you screw up, you know," Mio sighed once again, leaning the guitar against the wall where the other two bass guitars were perched, all gifts from Ritsu in an attempt to achieve the same thing.
Ritsu forced a laugh, rubbing the back of her head frantically and smiling sheepishly when Mio only kept her stern gaze. As she crossed her arms, a thought occurred to her: "Ritsu, where are you even getting the money for all these guitars, anyway?"
Ritsu froze, eyes popping wide open. "Uh, you know how Mugi-chan’s father owns the guitar shop we go to..?"
*SMACK!*
"Don’t use your friends to settle petty disputes!"
