Romana glared at the sign on Matrix of Our Own which said: ‘We estimate that service restoration for MO3 will take around 1000 spans but it could be up to 2000 spans. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. If that does happen, there may be times when the site has to be brought down temporarily until this is fully resolved. Please stay tuned for further info.’
And right when she had wanted to upload Chapter 54 of her Theta/Luandra academy era fic as well! Romana would be having words with her engineers—didn’t they know that their President’s integrity was at stake? She had promised to upload the chapter today but she was prevented by this horror, locked out of MO3 like everyone else now was (she was the President! Surely she should be granted special privileges!). Not that her few faithful commenters knew that the author of the Theta/Luandra fic was their President (at least, she hoped they didn’t—if anyone knew, then Brax could know exactly what her ‘book’ was about, and so, Rassilon forbid, could the Doctor, and the Doctor could not ever discover it).
“K9,” she said, “ensure that Chapter 54 is safe and that it can be posted without delay once MO3 is back.”
“Mistress,” K9 acknowledged her order.
