I hold Lula tightly in my grasp as I sigh. The last few days have been harder then I thought they would be and Im insanely thankful that we're back at Cid's place and away from that. The boys were inside having some drinks to relax while you stayed on the ship to just in case Omega wakes up and needs something.
I didn't have to obviously but either way I would have to babysit someone and I would much rather it be Omega. Looking away from Lula and towards Omega who had fallen asleep on Hunters bunk on accident I can't help but smile, she has done so much good for all of us being here. New sides of the boys that I have never seen before this have come out because of this amazing little girl, hell I have changed a lot to because of her as well.
She's one of the only good things to come out of this whole shit show.
Shaking my head with a smile I stand brushing her hair from her face as I pass. Still clutching Lula in my arms I go sit in the cockpit instead, not wanting to wake her on accident.
Right as I get comfortable with a datapad and Lula in my lap I hear heavy footsteps coming up the ramp I already know who it is without even having to get up.
"Hey Wrecker" I call out to him tracing circles on Lula as I look up a movie to watch. "Don't tell me you're plastered already?" I ask, they had only left the ship to drink around forty minutes ago so you sure hope that's not the case.
"Nah, was just bored without you" he says with a huff walking up behind you and plopping himself down in the other seat.
I hum in response smiling as I look over at him giving Lula a absentminded squeeze as I do so. He's smiling back at me, its crooked and filled with all the usual admiration he shows me that still makes me blush.
"Thought you would be in bed, I was gonna join you" he says with a chuckle.
I shake my head and lift up the datapad "wanted to watch a movie and didn't wanna risk waking Omega up"
"What movie?" He asks perking up.
"Haven't decided yet" I hum moving so I could show him the screen and the movies I was browsing.
There wasn't anything eye chatching to me all of just seemed like the same things I had watched in the past. I had thought to rewatch some of the movies I love but those didn't seem apealing right now either.
"Got any ideas?" I question with a small sigh.
He rubs his chin in thought perpusfully exaterating the movement to make me laugh. Lost in thought for only a few more moments after that a sudden sparkle forms in his eyes.
"Oh! Could we watch the one with the giant lizard thing that destroys stuff?" he asks exitedly leaning forward.
I let out small laugh picking Lula up and using her to push him back a little so he doesn't fall off his seat "sure I don't see why not"
"Yes!" he says raising his voice a little to loudly making me send him a look "ah… sorry" he say sheepishly.
He motions for me come over and sit on his lap and I quickly do so. His thick thigh made a comfortable spot to rest on letting you sit for as long as you wanted.
Once I settled I place Lula on my lap so she is in a sitting postion and able to see the screen from the spot I place it on the consel after I select the movie wrecker asked for. He places his chin on my shoulder and wraps his arms around my waist giving a small squeeze.
"I wish we had some mentell mix that would make this perfect"
"I'll buy you some tomorrow" I say giving a small pat to his thigh.
He makes a semi quiet cheer of exitment and places a stream of kisses on your neck.
"I love you so much" he mumbles smiling big against your neck.
"Love you to Wrecker"
